A Brief Introduction to Laser Bullets
Laser bullets, often referred to as laser-based projectile simulation systems, are advanced devices designed to mimic the trajectory and impact of traditional bullets using laser technology. Unlike actual ammunition, they emit focused laser beams to mark hits on targets, making them a safe and versatile alternative in training, military exercises, and recreational shooting scenarios.
These systems typically consist of a laser emitter integrated into a cartridge or projectile-shaped housing, compatible with standard firearms or specialized training weapons. When fired, the laser bullet activates upon trigger pull, emitting a brief, high-intensity laser pulse that registers on sensitive targets or sensors, providing instant feedback on accuracy and precision.
Laser bullets offer significant advantages, including eliminating the risk of physical harm from live ammunition, reducing costs associated with real bullets and range maintenance, and enabling training in environments where live fire is restricted. They are widely used in law enforcement and military training to practice marksmanship, tactical drills, and scenario-based exercises without the dangers of live rounds.
While they simulate bullet ballistics, laser bullets do not possess the destructive force of actual ammunition, focusing instead on realistic training and simulation. Their development has revolutionized safety and efficiency in shooting practice, making them an indispensable tool in modern training protocols.
It is a small size laser training bullet with a 650nm red dot laser. It is widely used in simulated shooting, laser firearm training systems, dry fire training, aiming and positioning, laser bore sighter and so on.
Wavelength: Red 650nm
Output Power(CW): According to the different requirements of the customers, we can do it with 0.4mW, 1mW, 3mW output Power.
Dimension: the dimension can be customzied according to different requirements, the normal one we have do is 9mm, 223REM,45ACP,380ACP,40S&W , 303, 308, 12 Gauge and so on.
Working Voltage: 3-5V, working with LR626 button battery
Working Mode: CW work
Dot beam size: We normally adjust its infinity distance ( Parallel light), then get less than 15mm dot beam size at a 10m working distance. The concentricity of the laser bullet is less than 0.5deg.
Wavelength | 650nm |
Output Power | 2-3mW |
Divergence | 0.1 mrad |
Operating Current | <20mA |
Material | Brass with gold-plated |
Lens | Optical Glass |
Lifespan | > 10,000 hours |
