DLP stereolithography 3D printing adopts digital light projection. With UV/violet light exposure, footwear-specific photoresin cures rapidly to build midsoles, lasts, upper supports and insoles layer by layer. Compared with traditional injection molding and foaming, DLP printing enables lightweight design, free lattice structure, tunable cushioning performance and fast small-batch iteration. It has become a key manufacturing method for custom functional shoes, sports running shoes and orthopedic footwear. The light source determines printing speed, lattice definition, resilience and anti-yellowing performance.
Optimized for the absorption spectrum of flexible polyurethane photoresin used in footwear, our 405nm fiber-coupled violet laser module fits DLP optical engine illumination, and can also work as a selective post-curing light source for lattice midsoles.
Wavelength matching: Matches the absorption peak of flexible footwear resin to achieve full curing with qualified elasticity and tear resistance;
Fiber-coupled output: Excellent beam quality, easy to combine with light homogenizer and fly-eye lens for uniform area exposure;
Stable power with low drift: Consistent hardness and resilience of insoles and midsoles during mass production;
Integrated temperature control: Supports 7×24 continuous factory operation;
Customizable solution: Output power, fiber core, beam shaping, driver interface and trigger timing can be tailored for DLP optical systems.
Low thermal load to reduce deformation and warpage of flexible resin, preventing lattice collapse;
Fast exposure response to shorten layer cycle time for mass DLP production;
Optional homogenization module eliminates light stripes for even curing over large midsoles;
Long service life and low maintenance. Ozone-free, compliant with footwear factory environmental standards;
Triggerable driver for synchronous control with DLP projection systems.
Hollow lattice cushioning midsoles for lightweight and high-rebound racing and training footwear.
Patient-specific supportive insoles based on foot scanning data for arch support and plantar pressure correction.
Lightweight upper supports, trial shoe lasts and forming tooling for rapid prototyping.
Testing of new resin formulations and fast iteration of lattice structures to shorten footwear development cycles.
