A speckle structured light laser is an integrated laser module composed of laser chip, driving circuit and DOE (Diffractive Optical Element). It diffracts single laser beam into millions of fixed, pseudo-random speckle dots via special DOE optics and projects unique granular speckle patterns onto target surfaces.
Each speckle cluster owns exclusive spatial features; once projected on uneven objects, speckle positions deform following surface fluctuation. Paired with infrared camera, the system calculates depth data through pattern offset & triangulation algorithm to finish real-time 3D depth mapping with only one single frame capture.
Most mainstream products adopt 830nm/850nm/940nm near-infrared wavelength for eye-safe invisible projection; customized 450nm blue speckle laser is also available for industrial inspection.
